Really Bill, MSNBC is bias and FOX isn’t. Really?

While rocking my youngest son back to sleep at 4 in the morning i started flipping through the cable news shows. I came upon Mr. Orielly’s “talking points.” Where he went into a diatribe about MSNBC’s open bias for the democratic candidate Barack Obama. How shameful it was and unprecedented. Is he being serious? That was a joke right

Bill, buddy, are you watching your own network. Its not in the can for one Republican candidate. Its in the can for the entire Republican party. The closets thing to a news man/woman at Fox News is Shepard Smith. Everyone else (that has their own show) is in the tank for the Republican party. Including the “news” shows. Because that’s Fox’s standard defense, “I’m a commentator, but our news anchors are fair and balanced.”

Sure you have the token democrat Allen Colmes. But lets face it, he’s a ploy that makes fun of democrats. You have Sean Hannity, with his little wood chuck jaws, school boy hair cut, hugging his ink pen in hand, asking every democrat “are you going to apologize for (fill in the blank) in your party), and interrupting Colmes at every turn. Then there’s Allen Colmes who for a lack of a better description looks like a praying mantis and looks weak for not interupting Hannity. But kudos to Allen he has been telling Hannity to back off a little more of late. 

Need more proof? Just look at Bill’os replacement anchors. Laura Ingram, who doesn’t have a funny bone in her body but does have another generic right wing radio show. John Kasic, who makes dead air appealing and a former republican house member.  Michelle Malcon, who has been chased back into right wing nutcase obscurity. And i think he may have even given that man in bad makeup Ann Coulter a shot at the show. But being in Hi-Def you could see the razor stubble around its adams apple so they had to stop that because the show airs a little after dinner time.  Then he has the Dennis Miller segment to spout off Republican talking points with a little humor. How about giving a democrat the same chance. 

More proof you say. During the 9/11 hearings one of their “news” shows was covering the hearings. The anchor, his name i can’t remember made the comment after coming back from a commercial break. “We’ll take you back into these SO CALLED hearings in just a moment.” I’ll find out his name and post it a bit later.

Finally, at least the owners of MSNBC are American, not Australian like Rupert Murdoch. Did i mention ol’ Rup left his wife to marry his much much younger secretary. Ah, gotta love those good Christian Republican values that so many in the party have shown us. Like Bill Bennett, David Vitter, Newt Gingrich, Ted Haggard, Mark Foley and the list goes on.

As a footnote- i’d love to be on Billo’s show, in the street, ring, or anywhere else and have him pull one of his faux, I’m mad and i might get you moments with me. I would smack him so hard Roger Ails would feel it.

Kool-Aid Conspiracy

I admit it, I like a good conspiracy and believe in quite of few of them. But there has to be something going on with the kool-aid they’ve been serving over at FOX. Have you ever noticed when someone gets on the payroll at FOX they go from normal “group think” Republicans to right wing, fear mongering, pro life, pro death penalty, our god is better than your god “group think” zealots?

Our lead example is none other than Bill O’Reilly aka “Culture Warrior.” Billy is the top peddler of the FOX/NeoCon kool-aid mafia. He wants to pass his-self off as the moral police and make fun of other TV shows but he never mentions he was a reporter on Inside Edition (one of the first tabloid/gossip shows). Then there’s the whole Andrea Mackris sexual harassment case that he vowed to fight. That is until he realized she had the goods, then the ol’ boy cracked open the check book and made it go away. Way to show those “SP’s” Billy! And the greatest hypocrisy is the attacks on George Soros accusing him of trying to control our government through the media. Has he not noticed his boss? The non U.S. citizen Rupert Murdoch, is buying up all sectors of media, right down to myspace in an attempt to control public opinion about the right wing agenda. And he still isn’t finished, there’s an attempt to yet relax the laws more to allow more cross media purchasing within the same market.

The next kool-aid connoisseur is Sean Hannity. I found ol chubby cheeks online several years back, and thought, okay we may not agree on most things but he did seem to have an even approach . But as Hannity became more of a poster boy for FOX the more extremist, one sided, illogical his opinions became. He’s now so saturated with right-wing kool-aid that when his mouth opens, the right wing agenda spews out automatically.

The latest to fall victim to the FOX/Murdoch kool-aid is Dennis Miller. Dennis seems like a likeable cat that at one point was pretty open minded. I’ve listened to his radio show to see if I could get my head around his opinions but you can listen to the kool-aid taking effect. Here’s what I’ve found so far– he really says nothing that isn’t in the FOX talking points play book. But by using the offbeat thesaurus to add 10 more descriptors per sentence the sheeple think he’s brilliant.

One FOX kool-aid side effect I’m starting to notice, other than the obvious foaming at the mouth right wing fever, is it has similar effects as steroids. Am I the only one that’s noticed how big Miller’s head is now (in both the physical and ego departments). Maybe its always been that big and his trademark mullet helped streamline that gourd, but the last time he was on O’Reilly all I could think was my god look at the size of that melon.

The rightwing kool-aid also causes something similar to roid rage. The old man O’Reilly constantly works his-self into a frenzy when its someone he knows he can push around. As a sidenote billy I’ve crawled over guys bigger than you to get to a fight, so please quit mentioning your 6′. Everyone, that’s been in the real world, knows the loud guy screaming I’m a mean big guy is really the whimp. Then there is Hannity’s wood-chuck jaws rattling “you going to stand by that statement,” while pointing with is pen, when intelligent democrats like Charlie Rangel puts an intellectual whooping on him.

Lay off the kool aid over there boys. Its hurting your party, your ratings and making you look like a bunch of idiots. Flush your system with some water, take a good multi-vitamin and talk to someone other than yes men at the office. You’ll thank me later.

In case you’re pressed for time or just don’t want to wade through the crazy heres the cliff notes version. He believes all U.S. muslims should be rounded up and interviewed. Opposing views from Americans like the ACLU “if deemed unpatriotic” should be squashed, with the group being disbanned and/or jailed. U.S citizens should be thrown out of this country with their illegal parents and more. Yea I know, I wish I was making this up but this is a real person’s thoughts on how to “save” America.

Here is my questions and concerns to people of D=S ideology-
Rounding up muslim citizens–WIll they be forced to wear color coded crecents depending on the governments threat level and political ties similar to Hitler’s death camps?
Throwing out tens of thousands US citizens because thier parents are illegal?
Outlawing and jailing groups of people with opposing views?
Forcing companies to manufacture what “the dream governement” deems necessary?
Before hammering the Islamo-Fascist you should look up the definition of fascists. Your post on how to “reclaim” our country sounds a LOT like fascism.

But we are on our way to rightwingo-fascism I’m afraid. The use of fear by this administration, bush policy to force “freedom” on other countries, FEMA holding mock press conference to rally the public, White House reporter plant Jeff Gannon and the list goes on.

No one person or group has all the answers. But shooting everything through one’s own prism of ideology will never be the fix.

Bill O’Reilly – A factor for kids?

I hear all the time about how Bill is looking out for kids but I really have to wonder. Lets do a recap of other right wing “its all about the children” people- The Catholic Church (that Bill is a proud member of) was all about helping the children. Right down to moving pedophile priests around the world to shepard young male boys.

Then there’s Mark Foley, former chairman of the House Caucus on Missing and Exploited Children. He resigned as U.S. Senator when it became public that he admittedly was having inappropriate relations and accused of having sexual relations with male congressional pages.

But Bill trumpets his own horn often and loud. One that always makes me chuckle is when he claims he, he alone is responsible for getting Jessica’s Law passed in states. The most egregious act of bill’s hypocrisy is the Shawn Hornbeck case. The condensed version of the crime is Michael Devlin, a sick useless human being, abducted Shawn in 2002. For 4+ years Shawn lived in fear as a sex toy for Devlin. Until Ben Ownby was kidnapped in 2007. That sparked a new search that led to both being found. When the story first broke this is what bill had to say about Shawn,

Bill O’Reilly (January 15 2006) – “there was an element here that this kid liked about his circumstances,” he goes on to say, “The situation here for this kid looks to me to be a lot more fun than what he had under his old parents. He didn’t have to go to school. He could run around and do whatever he wanted.”

He has yet to apologize or address this outrageous comment. Why don’t they send that little sawed off hack that attacks people at home on The Factor out to try and get an answer from Bill.

Bill uses the topic of kids to stroke his own ego. He proudly runs a bumper on his radio show about if a kid of his were to bring a kid home that causes chaos, “their gone”. Is that the proper thing to do? I submit its not. When my kids have friends over, I try to show them how we work as a family unit. And if we did have a child over that had behavioral issues, I would correct the child by telling them what he/she has done and ask him to play within the rules of our house. NOT throw them out because it may put me out a little.

9/11–Answers for Bush Sycophants

I’ve been listening since 9/11 to all the sheeple with their standard answer when pressed about the Bush administration’s response to 9/11. Here’s the 2 default answers from all the “Limbaugh- ditto heads”, “Hannity- great americans,” and “O’Rielly- culture warriors.”– “we haven’t been attacked since 9/11″ or “how many times have we been attacked since 9/11.”

PAY ATTENTION-HERE’S YOUR ANSWER
“We haven’t been attacked since 9/11″- We have been attacked since 9/11! Has everyone forgotten about the anthrax attacks and the DC sniper. And most importantly the attacks on our freedoms.

“How many times have we been attacked since 9/11.”- The answer to this is answered with another question. How many times were we attacked before 9/11? One time. So as I see it Bush has the same “attacks on US soil” record as Clinton. And quit acting like he’s protecting us from a great war. It is a handful of crazy people that takes years to finance, plan, and carry out each attack. And please don’t insult mine or other’s intelligence by claiming we’re safer because of the petty criminals the police has picked up on several occasions. Most of which are disgruntled youth that have no jobs, no money to purchase supplies and no chance of carrying out the stealing a candy bar from 7-Eleven. Much less an attack to rival 9/11 or bigger.

And why is it the media, especially FOX (sort of) NEWS trumpets the arrests but not the dropped charges release of these terror criminals.

The attacks of 9/11 were bad. Yes a good defense is a better offense. BUT- that doesn’t mean to fix the problem you should beat everyone down with a bigger stick. The “we know what’s best for you,” attitude the White House has displayed has no doubt played a part in why we’re hated by others. And if you’re going to site the UN resolutions as a reason to go into Iraq and other countries then the Bush administration and you should keep in consistent. There is a UN Resolution to remove nuclear weapons from the Middle East but you don’t hear the neocons calling for India and especially Israel to lay give up its nuclear weapons.

This administration’s inconsistencies, negligence of the wars, and playing fast and loose with the facts to get its way has been well documented. So this is your chance bush sycophants-pull your head out of the the collective Bush/Cheney rectum and think for yourself.

Friends of Ann Coulter

As a friend one of you needs to tell her she isn’t funny. If Sean and Alan won’t tell you I will. YOU ARE NOT FUNNY. Not even kind of funny. As a matter of fact I’m sure everytime you open your mouth Paxil prescriptions go up.

Its so depressing to watch someone whose not funny trying to be funny. To give you a comparison for those that don’t follow politics, Ann Coulter’s humor is to politics what William Hung is to American Idols singers.

Here’s the dirty little secret Ann your friends won’t tell you. They only let you speak because it makes them look smarter and most of the time funnier. Hasn’t the thought crossed your mind when everyone is ignoring your shtick maybe I’m just not funny. Oh that’s right you’re so far out of it you’ve announced on air before “why is no one laughing at my jokes.” Again the reoccurring them of this article–YOU”RE NOT FUNNY.

And while on the subject of Ann Coulter. She thinks she’s somehow out smarted the world because she says stupid, dumb, homophobic, anti-semetic, racists things yet people let her back on TV, radio and write columns. Heres why–you’re insignificant. You are a one man walking Jerry Springer show right down to are you a man or a woman, raccoon or a crane.

Now I would like to ask one of Ann’s contacts, because as I’ve written this article I’ve come to realize she has no friends, could you do me a favor? Send me a DNA sample. I would like to send it off to do some testing. I’m almost certain she’s a cloning experiment gone awry. If you look at her close this is some of the things I’ve noticed. The adams apple of Lyle Lovett, eyes of a raccoon, neck of a giraffe, legs of a pink flamingo (no not the real ones, the thin wiry ones in your distant Aunts yard) the body of a frill neck lizard and the mane of a shetland pony. Am I missing anything? If so please email me so I can have the lab test for your guess too.

Bill O’Reilly- Racists or just stupid?

On September 19th, 2007 the No Spin Zone’s host Bill O’Reilly made at the very best ignorant comments and at worst racist comments. This was already being talked about but when Media Matters picked it up network news started to report on it. This of course threw Bill O’Reilly into a fit. Does he not realize, when you make comments like “it was no different than any other place” what do you expect people to say. Then to add insult to injury, Bill then goes onto his evening show and says no one complained and it was an attack only by the media. When callers to his show complained. Bill is a paranoid egomaniac.

Of course Bill is not alone. Most FOX News (I use the term news lightly when referring to Fox) reporters and in general all right-wing talk show hosts use the same excuse when their prejudice behaviors and stupidity surface. Here’s a few words to key on when John Gibson, Glen Beck, Laura Ingram, Sean Hannity and others insert foot- “I didn’t say that,” I was taken out of context,” “mainstream media is attacking me,” “the smear merchants attacked me,” and the excuses go on. Below is Bill’s original comments because you won’t hear them on his TV show.

I’m also tired of the FOX News “fair and balance” sale job. They have Dick Morris a true Clinton hater, Juan Williams that gets slapped around at every discussion, Kirsten Powers that is as timid as a field mouse and agrees with Michelle Malkin more than not and poor Alan Colmes that is a whipping boy for Hannity and guests. I give Alan credit of late, he has stepped up his game and started giving a little back.

Power to the People = Stroke My Ego

Just want to help those sheeple-that think the right-wing mouth pieces that bombard the airwaves everyday.- DON’T CARE ABOUT YOU! Take the “holier than thou” Laura. She wants everyone to wise up. She just wants you to make her rich while she does it.

Here are a few examples:
The “Power to the People” tour- Yes she wants to educate the public but if you want to “get up close and personal” with Laura you can for a small fee, $120 to be exact. For that 120 bucks you get to be “close” to Laura, enjoy a VIP book signing (which you have to buy), premium seating and watch her eat a Filet Mignon dinner. Oh yea, you get a cut of meat too.

The book with the same name she wants you to pay $28. Here’s my power to the people tip- wait a few more days and you’ll be able to pick up the book in second hand stores everywhere for 10 cents. And for those of you who are reading this blog, Laura has a special offer, you can be a member of her website for $49.95 a year. By doing this you can watch her and her assistant’s hit the dump button when common sense people disagree with her opinion.

One thing is for sure Laura has embraced capitalism. There’s nothing wrong with making a dollar, what is sickening, is how people especially on the right, make their money off the backs of hard working Americans in the name of educating you. If a vacuum salesmen shows up on your door, he tries to sale you a vacuum. Not, you need to buy this vacuum to show the other vacuum owners how we’re taking back our country, religion, morals, flag and whatever other patriotic heartstring they can pull at. That’s the repulsive part.

If you listen to her show you also get to listen to the hypocrisy of “power to the people”. The best example of this is the attack on small business owners (that the republicans so proudly claim to support). When local bookstore owners want to exercise the freedoms of America and not push Laura’s book, they are called out and attacked. So its “Power to the People” that think like me. Grow up Laura, not everyone gets his or her marching orders from the Whitehouse.

So if you want to take back your house, city, state and/or country that would be fine. Just quit buying into right-wing overblown egomaniacs that think they are smarter than you.
